How To Manage Cash Balances in Xero


While we'd love to be there for your everyday transactions, we're more focused on your financials on a monthly and yearly basis. Don't fret, however, you can still manage your cash balance in Xero with these easy steps:

  1. Click the bank account in the dashboard you'd like to work on
  2. Click the +New Transaction button above the table
  3. Here under New Spend Money you can add any check/transaction you've made in real time by editing each column including To: and the Date
  4. After saving your transaction the amount will be deducted from your account balance in Xero [Note: This transaction will remain unreconciled until the bank feed is updated]
